Hysterical paralysis is a rare variant of conversion disorder. Its diagnostic can be difficult, and organic causes of paralysis must be ruled out. We report here a case of hysterical hemiplegia that was attributed to occupational-linked stress factors, and was consequently considered as an accident at work.
